According to Vadim Tarasov, the director of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Biotechnology told the Russian news agency Sputnik that the first set of volunteers would be discharged on Wednesday i.e. July 15 and the second set of volunteers on July 20.
On June 18th, the university started the clinical trials of the vaccine by by Gamalei Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, Russia.
Alexander Lukashev, the director of the Institute of Medical Parasitology, Tropical and Vector-Borne Diseases at Sechenov University told Sputnik “The safety of the vaccine is confirmed. It corresponds to the safety of those vaccines that are currently on the market,”.
