The World Bank is standing by India, to help it to combat the coronavirus pandemic. They approved the 1 billion emergencies funding for India. Currently, there are more than 2,500 infected in the country. World Bank is now sending funds about 1.9 billion to aid 25 countries and also moving forward in over 40 countries rapidly.
After the approval of Board of Executive Directors, the World Bank announced that with this funding India can arrange advanced screening system, contract tracing and laboratory diagnostics, more secure personal protective equipment and new isolation wards.
This economical aid will shorten the time to recover the situation, it’ll help to develop the small and medium organisation, and also provide security to the poor and needy mass. Not only that, but this financial program is also entirely focusing on the situation of poorest households and the environment.
World Bank is responding to the worldwide supply chain disruptions, they are sending medical supplies on behalf of the government, which are urgently needed to handle the situation. They also urged the developed countries and others to respond for financial support.
