Europe and North America should learn the art of dealing with Covid-19 from Asian countries. Mike Ryan of WHO (World Health Organization) said this in a statement on Tuesday. Ryan, who heads the WHO’s Health Emergency Program, said, “An infected person needs to have quarantine after being exposed to the virus.”
According to the WHO report, 8,500 deaths have been reported from Kovid-19 in European countries, including Russia. Here half the countries have registered a 50 percent increase in corona cases. At the same time, in the last few months, Australia, China, Japan and South Korea have done better work on testing, isolating and quarantine, reducing the risk of infection.
Ryan said, “Citizens of these countries have shown complete confidence in their government. These countries implemented plans to control the infection for a longer period than European countries. Even after lockdown in these countries, people are being made aware about social distancing, mask and sanitizer.
Giving an example, Mike Ryan said, ‘After the devastation of Corona virus, people in these countries have continued to run in the race for safety and security, because they know that this race is not over yet. After crossing the finish line, that is, after controlling the virus, he has also cut down on his daily activities.
He said, “More than 40 million people in the whole world have been affected by this terrible epidemic and more than 11 lakh deaths have taken place.” I know that we are quite tired, but as we weaken our security shield, the speed of the virus increases again. For health systems and hospitals, it is intimidating.
