Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is seen to be strict about the mess in the paddy purchase. Now CM Yogi has taken action on the purchase of paddy and a case has been filed against 10 people including eight center in-charges. Simultaneously, CM Yogi has instructed to arrest every person who is making a mess in paddy purchase and send him to jail.
In fact, in Uttar Pradesh, there were complaints of many irregularities during the recent paddy purchase. The farmers had alleged that they were not getting fair price for their produce. After this, CM Yogi Adityanath, while taking a decision on the purchase of paddy in Uttar Pradesh, has said that now the DM will also be responsible for providing fair prices to the farmers in the state.
Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with all the district magistrates of the state through video conferencing and directed that paddy from the farmers should be purchased on time. At the same time, they get its fair price, it will be the responsibility of the Collector. Strict action will be taken against the District Magistrates who are negligent in procuring paddy.
Apart from this, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has released the data so far regarding the purchase of paddy. According to this, 1 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been procured in the state so far. By this time last year, only 10 thousand metric tons of paddy had been purchased.
