Well, the time has finally arrived, all the confusion about the final exams end. As the Home ministry agrees with the UGC in conducting of the Final Examination. The Union Home Ministry wrote to Union Higher Board Education Secretary stating conducting the exams is a part of the Unlock-2. Thus, the exams which were left in the month of March due to Lockdown can now take place either online or offline mode.
The students who are not able to appear for the exams, take the exams later following some conditions. The final examination is compulsory and have to be conducted. Along with this, the new academic calendar has also been approved by the Union Home Ministry and will be followed soon.
Human Resource Minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal even tweeted “Intermediate semester students will be evaluated based on the internal assessment”.
While his second tweet stated “Evaluation of the terminal semester students which was to be done through examinations in the month of July, now their examinations will be conducted by the end of September-2020, following the guidelines laid down by @MoHFW_INDIA for #COVID–19. “
