Indian mobile game that gained quick fame in the country with its Indian Army-centric theme, FAU-G will be coming out with a major update. The game was launched with a single-player storyline mode, but now the developers are introducing team deathmatch mode to FAU-G.
Mentioned on the FAU-G’s home page, it had been long hinted at the update with ‘coming soon’ tag. Now the developer Ncore Games releases a trailer that gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the team deathmatch mode on FAU-G.
The trailer marks the considerable shift from what the game has to offer to date. FAU-G before its launch was hailed as a possible substitute to battle Royale Game PUBG that was facing a ban in India. The fans were rather disappointed when the game was launched with a single storyline mode that had little to offer.
The developers promised to soon introduce both team deathmatch and battle Royale modes to the game. And now, they have finally released the date for a beta version of the new mode, which is set to arrive in June this year.
From the trailer, it can be seen that the new deathmatch mode will be much like what is seen on Call of Duty Mobile or PUBG Mobile, allowing players to form a groups of 4 or 5 and battle against another group in a variety of maps. The multiplayer option that the mode will bring to the game is going to be a big plus for FAU-G, as for now the game only makes use of a single-player storyline with only a few melee weapons for action. On the other hand, the team deathmatch mode will be equipped with a whole new arsenal of weapons to the game.
The weapons as seen in the trailer will range from assault rifles to SMGs, snipers and more. Players will also get to use grenades and like in the new mode, there will ne no depiction of special abilities or functions, as is the case in COD Mobile.
We are yet to see, how FAU-G will manage to appeal to Indian gamers with its new team deathmatch mode. If it is something like the storyline mode it first introduced, gamers in the country will give it a hard pass.
