A vehicle of the World Health Organization was carrying coronavirus test sample, has been assassinated in Myanmar. He was with a government official, who has been also seriously injured.
The driver, Pyae Sone Win Muang has been passed away for his grave injuries. The attack has been taking place in the Minbya township, north-west Rakhine. They have been attacked with gunfire, according to the official report. WHO has been stated that the organization is in the state of sadness of losing one of their personnel during serving for mankind.
Poonam Khetrapal Singh, the WHO’s Southeast Asia director has said, that this assassination has proved once again, that the frontline workers like doctors, nurses, medical staff and other service individuals are working with grave risks. It is very hard to contribute the best while having such life threats, but still, they go on with such spirits.
