Scientists are saying that they have just discovered the cleanest air of the world, which has no polluted particles. It has been located over the Southern Ocean, Antarctica. As the weather and climate are closely related, the lack of human activity due to coronavirus, it is still difficult to finds a corner, which is unaffected by people.
The boundary layer air, which is feeding the lower clouds of the southern ocean, it is free from aerosol particles produced by human activity. Fossil fuels, planting certain crops, fertilizer production and wastewater disposal: the aerosols are adding up to the air from these activities.
Researchers found that the air has those aerosols, which are strongly linked with the ocean biological process. Antarctica is the isolated section, where the airborne microbes are composing the aerosols which have been found in the air.
