Pink Dolphins are a rare sea creature, which is usually found in Indo-Pacific Oceans. They are Humpback Dolphins also known as Chinese White Dolphins. They are not pink in colour. Actually, they are white, lives in murky waters. As their warm blood plumps, while closing up with vessels, the skin appears as a bubblegum pink.
There was a merchant named Peter Mundy has observed them and mentioned as Swordfish. He didn’t recognise them as mammals. The Fishermans’ of Hong Kong know them from the time of centuries. They called them as Hak Kei or Pak Kei: the Black/White Taboo. This creature usually scared thee other fishes.
The Pink Dolphins used found in the west coast of Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and Java as well as in Tamil Nadu in India. As the ports and seashores are very busy, they are kind of losing their habitats easily. Still, they are surviving in a number of 32 in total.
