Sony Japan Studio’s progressing rebuild has prompted a mass departure of engineers behind key PlayStation titles like Demon’s Souls on PS5, Gravity Rush, Bloodborne, The Last Guardian, and that’s just the beginning. In February, Sony affirmed that PlayStation’s Japan Studio will be re-coordinated around Team ASOBI, the improvement unit behind Astro’s Playroom. First-party improvement somewhere else in the studio will probably stop or be downsized, and different offices like restriction, outside creation, and IP the executives will move to PlayStation Studios. Since this news, a few key individuals from Japan Studio have reported their takeoffs from the organization. Evil presence’s Souls PS5 chief Gavin Moore declared today he is leaving Sony following 24 years with the organization.
