A resident of Delhi who is a software engineer tried to break into the company’s software so as to get his job back, which he lost during Lockdown.
The CEO of the company lodged a complaint to the employee and the police looked into the matter and tried to track the IP address. Deputy Commissioner of Police (northwest) Vijayanta Arya arrested Vikas Sharma who was the on behind the hacking.
Vikas Sharma, who is a resident of Old Maujpur and is a M.Sc (IT) degree. He was fired due to a disagreement that happened relating to his salary. He was a senior software engineer in the company and tried to harm the company by deleting the important financial details of many patients.
According to Deputy Vijayanta Arya “The accused said he deleted 18,000 data entries of patients, billing information of around three lakh patients and made around 22,000 false entries”.
