Several controversies are arising amidst pandemic, initially scholars from JMI, then, a Kashmir-based Photojournalist and now, a Kashmiri Superintendent of Police. The head of the cyber cell was called out for referring Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘sadistic’.
Tahir Ashraf was asked to delete his tweet from 2013 because he tweeted about PM Modi, then the CM of Gujarat. Ashraf actually responded to a statement made by PM during an interview with NDTV that he would feel the pain even if any puppy comes under car. After the interview, Ashraf tweeted that this analogy of Narendra Modi shows his real character as per 2002 Gujarat Riots and called him ‘sadistic’.
On Tuesday, the officer was roasted for his tweet soon after the charges of UAPA on Masrat Zahra for her Facebook post on Narendra Modi. Citizens asked Ashraf to arrest himself for his hateful comments and talking bad about the current government.
