2)Digital detox– Switch off your phone for a while and have a refreshing drink like a lemonade or your favourite fruit juice. It calms you down, releases anxiety and stress and refreshes your mood and energizes your body.
3)Meditate– Now this reminds you of your parents who always told you to meditate, even on Sundays. Guess what? They were right too! Meditation is a natural painkiller. It instantly calms you down, improves focus, reduces negative emotions and increases patience and concentration.
4)Write down– There are too many thoughts, too many things going on inside you, you are confused, your flood of thoughts is making you uncomfortable? Grab a journal and do a small brain dump of what is on your mind. This increases your imagination and creativity and helps you make informed decision. Writing calms down anxiety, helps you gain new perspective on stressful situations and helps in building skills to manage stress.
5)Quality time with your favourite song or fictional character– This is the best selfcare tip that most of you will readily follow that is listening your favourite song or watching an episode of your favourite show. This refreshes and lightens your mood, calms you down and entertains you. How about the episode where Phoebe does not even have a “pla”.
