WWE are on the cusp of returning to touring with fans in attendance for their shows and they are making the appropriate preparations.
The Boss hasn’t been seen since her instant classic with Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 37 where she dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
According to Fightful Select, several main roster wrestlers are mandated to be at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando for training this week as the company prepares to return to touring next month.
Banks is said to have been at the PC on Wednesday. Vince McMahon is also heading to the PC today as he looks to do some scouting in a bid to ‘replenish the main roster,’ per Fightful.
The 29 year old has already put together a legendary body of work with Belair simply being the latest all-time classic on his CV.
Belair has been feuding with longtime Banks friend and foe Bayley since WrestleMania, but many fans have speculated that it could lead to Banks returning and facing Belair in a rematch at SummerSlam.
SummerSlam will go down at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on August 21 in front of a fully-packed audience.
WWE’s return to touring starts on July 16 with a SmackDown taping in Houston, Texas which is followed two days later by the first pay-per-view with a full audience since Elimination Chamber in 2019, Money in the Bank.
In Fightful’s report, they also stated that wrestlers who have asked for time off were not exempt from being at the Performance Center for training this week.
WWE are clearly looking to go big with their return to the road and fans have got their hopes up that names like Becky Lynch, Brock Lesnar and John Cena will be returning to the company as a result.
