Theatre artist and film star Ranjit Chowdhry passed away on Wednesday in Mumbai. He was 64 years old and well-known for his role in Bollywood as well as Hollywood. He was a part of movie Khoobsurat, Baton baton main, Khatta Meetha and Mississippi Masala.
Ranjit was the son of Pearl Padamsee, a renowned theatre artist. He made his debut in 1978 in Khatta Meetha, then he worked for several crossover films and US-based shows like ‘The Office’. Raell Padamsee, his half-sister spread the news of his demise and she conveyed to people about his funeral.
Actors like Poorna Jagannathan also tweeted about Ranjit and told that he was simply brilliant in whatever he did and he shall be missed.
