Today, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is expected to make a statement in the parliament about the standoff between Indian and Chinese soldiers at the line of actual control LAC.
The crisis going on the line of actual control of Ladakh since May which has created tension on the borders of both countries China and India.
According to the sources, after his statement opposition leaders will speak and if required Rajnath Singh may give clarification.
Earlier, Indian China held brigade commander level talks in Eastern Ladakh The meeting was for 4 hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. According to the sources, Indian and Chinese military officers exchanged messages on the hotline and commanding officers were also in touch with each other.
Since early May both the countries have positioned troops and weaponry along the boundaries of China and India. No progress has been made on the points on the disengagement of troops at friction points, especially in the Pangong TSO area and destination along the LAC.
Earlier the meeting was held in Moscow on September 3 regarding the tensions in the border between the two countries. This meeting was the first face-to-face meeting.
