The Gehlot government has taken a big decision amid increasing cases of corona infection in Rajasthan. The state government has advised all district magistrates of the state to impose Section-144 from November 21. Group-9 of the Home Department has issued a consultation to all the District Magistrates. Home Secretary NL Meena has issued an order advising that Section 144 should be implemented in all the districts and to keep it strictly.
It is important to note that a notification is issued by the District Magistrate to implement Section-144 in a district. After which this stream becomes effective in that area. 4 or more people cannot gather in the area where Section-144 is applicable. There is a ban on bringing and carrying weapons to anyone except the police and security forces in that area. There is a restriction on people moving out of the house and there is a restriction on the means of transport.
Let us know that during the festive season, the cases of corona in the state have started increasing continuously. In view of the increasing cases in Rajasthan, the state government has taken this decision. On Diwali, there has been a proliferation of corona infections during the rush of people and coming out of homes and shopping, after which cases of corona have started increasing.
Earlier on Thursday, the Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan decided not to promote students without examination. The state government has decided that students will not be promoted without examination in this academic year. With this, the Gehlot government has also started a new initiative called ‘Aao Ghar Mein Padhein’ under which children have been called to study at home.
