The notification for the preliminary examination of the Civil Services Examination 2021 was issued which declared that the exams will be held on June 27, 2021. The notification is available on the official website upsc.gov.in.
UPSC conducts examinations in three phases for the selection of candidates in Indian Administration Services, Indian Police Services and other Civil Services. The phases include a preliminary written examination, a main examination and an interview, which is the last stage.
There is a set of rules for those who wish to apply. The eligibility criteria is that the minimum qualification of the candidates appearing for this examination is a graduation- a bachelor’s degree. Candidates who are waiting for the final result of graduation can also appear for the examination.
The UPSC aspirant has to be between the ages of 21-32, although there will be a relaxation of up to five years for SC or ST candidates.
