Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Chief Ministers of ten states to review the corona virus COVID-19 situation in the country and further measures required to check its spread on Tuesday (August 11, 2020). According to reports, PM Modi will conduct this via video conferencing with Chief Ministers of ten states around 11 AM. And the names of the states of CMs are Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Bihar, Gujarat, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh.
The number of recovery rates increased by 16 lakh, which is more than twice the active case. Out of total cases , 6,39,929 are active cases while 15,83,489 have recovered by the disease and unfortunately 45,257 people lost their lives in fighting with virus.
India recovered 47,746, the highest number of recoveries in a single day. The recovery rate increased up to 69.79%. On Monday, the government tested 6,98,290 samples.
Globally, the overall number of Covid-19 cases has crossed 20 million mark, while the total death is more than 7.34 lakh.
