Japan motor giant is going to shutting down all of its global headquarters and other facilities of Japan temporarily. This step has been taken to protect their employees and families to contain the infection of COVID-19.
Nissan CEO stated that it will reduce operational activities at the head office in Yokohama along with non-production services located in Atsugi. The R&D centre also located in the same location.
It will affect more than 15,000 employees between the 16-day closure that will be conducted from April 25 and will remain up to May 10, 2020.
