There have been destructive conflicts between security powers and shooters in north-western Nigeria. An official proclamation from the military said troops were trapped as they progressed on an infamous camp for groups of thugs somewhere inside a woodland close Jibia in Katsina state.
It said 17 outlaws had been killed and three warriors passed on in Saturday’s savagery. Yet, there are reports that the military lost 16 soldiers – including a few senior officials – and 28 others were injured.
Groups of hoodlums on bicycles every now and again assault networks in north-western Nigeria, slaughtering or abducting individuals for deliver just as taking domesticated animals.
