Dream11 confirmed a new logo for IPL which will be held in UAE. After a long discussion, The Indian Premier League (IPL) has finally revealed it’s a logo for the upcoming 2020 edition of the league which will be held in UAE.
This time the league will be sponsored by Dream 11. Recently, the fantasy sports platform Dream 11 has announced the new title sponsorship for the Indian Premier League 2020, and has won a bid of Rs 222 crore in the bidding held on Thursday. By keeping in mind the current scenario going on in the world the BCCI has decided to remove the sponsorship of the Chinese company named Vivio which becomes border tension between India and China.
In this case recently, on the official Instagram account of IPL, they have shared a post of the logo of IPL with a hashtag in it which says “#Dream11IPL” and they have also asked from the people how they like it or not.
The defending champions of the IPL Mumbai Indians will reach to the UAE on Friday and will play the opening match of IPL 13 on September 19, and they have also shared a logo post in which they have written “Now taking guard, #Dream11IPL”.
On Tuesday Dream11 emerged as the highest bidder for the sponsorship of the IPL in Rs 222 crore. Dream11 has outbid to the online education platform which are Byju’s and Unacademy. In the bid, Byju’s submitted their bid for Rs 201 crore and Unacademy submitted their bid on Rs 170 crore.
Many other teams like Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders have arrived in the UAE on Thursday and has begun their IPL practice, though it will take time for the players to roll the ball after a great pandemic.
In this league, sixty games will be played in 53 days across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
