On July 15th, during the meeting of Board of Directors, the decision was taken to appoint Roshni Nadar Malhotra as the new Chairperson of HCL
HCL Technologies Chairman Shiv Nadar announced his wish to step down from the position. His position is now to be taken by his daughter Roshni Nadara Malhotra, as decided by the Board of Directors.

Roshni was earlier a Non-Executive Director of HCL Technologies. The Board of Directors gave a statement “Shiv Nadar would continue to be the Managing Director of the Company with the designation as the Chief Strategy Officer of the Company,”.
Along with the change in chairperson, the company even gave their quarterly report of April-June, as the company saw a net profit surge of 31.7% to 2,925 crores. On this situation the company announced “The adverse conditions during this quarter had an anticipated negative impact on our revenue. I am happy to report that the resilience of our operating model helped us deliver stellar operating margins and cash flows,”.
