South African authorities have been reported that there are more than 200 schools have been burgled within the first 17 days of lockdown. The Education Minister Angie Motshekga, it is the most horrific event that 183 schools have been found broken during this lockdown.
It is been a very depressing moment when the learning and education system have been targeted by the criminals amid this world crisis. Gauteng from Pretoria and the economic hub Johannesburg have been reported with 55 robbery case.
Primarily computers, printers, classroom chairs have been theft mostly. President Cyril Ramaphosa stated that it is a great indictment among the society that the schools have burgled or trashed or burnt to the ground.
