His statement has been started following in such pace, that patient of Lupus and arthritis patients are facing a shortage of hydroxychloroquine drug.
Dr Alfred Kim, a rheumatologist from St. Louis, can’t provide his patients with the hydroxychloroquine, as Trump comments that this drug is powerful enough to finish off this virus. Like him, many patients are facing medical issues as they can’t take this drug in the prescribed manner.
Experts are saying that when lupus patients stop taking hydroxychloroquine regularly; they often build up extraction symptoms. Often those patients could be hospitalized if the situation goes worse. As now 90% of beds are filled with the COVID-19 patients, it could be difficult to survive a lupus patient among them.
