The virus infection has taken 15,362 lives in Italy, and the number of confirmed cases in the country rose to 124,632. Currently, the lockdown has been set to continue till April, but it could be extended to May.
In Rome, the leader of Italy’s doctor’s association was in tears as he has been watching the entire cases closely from the frontline. “It is an unbelievable state of pressure,” said Carlo Palermo, while he was reported about two suicide case of nurses. “I can understand the individuals who look at death without starting each day, who are on the cutting edges, who work with somebody who possibly is infected, at that point a couple of days after the fact you see him in the ICU.”
Italy and Spain have been remaining as the most affected countries due to the fatal infection. They’ve faced a death toll of more than 27,000. It has been soared to millions. Meanwhile, healthcare workers are serving with incredible risks.
