To contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, Naveen Patnail, the chief minister of orrisa extends lockdown till April 30.
On a discussion with the the cabinet, the CM took a decision that states that lives of people is more important, when he had to choose between Life of people and the economy of the state. The CM also added that the State govt would be recommending the centre to not commence air line and railway services till April 30.
Schools and colleges to remain closed till June 17,he said.
The odisha govt will also take measures to ensure the safety of the peope who are stuck up in different states.
Patnaik also promised that the state will be conducting 1 lakh virus tests at the earliest and to made sure that the transport of goods won’t be affected during the lockdown.
Thanking the doctors and the people behind it, Patnaik added that the state should tackle the virus together.
