India is about to witness a hike in COVID-19 cases in June by crossing 15,000 marks within a single day. The global forecast model for the coronavirus pandemic released by the Chinese researchers from Lanzhou’s University, located in Northwest China’s Gansu province.
The research group’s forecast model for India predicted 9,291 new confirmed cases in India, which appeared to similar with official data of Indian Government, which is the biggest hike for a single day, 8,909 cases within 24 hours.
The forecast predicts 9676, 10,078, 10,498 and 10,936 daily hikes in the next four days. The prediction is in the initial stage, the actual data is close to the reported number. The dynamic model unveiled online last week. The spread of the virus is affected by many external and internal factors.
The model is based on the information and data of statistical epidemiology model, confirmed case and the death toll from Johns Hopkins University. European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecast and NASA helped out with the Meteorological Data for the research. In India, the infection is spreading out for the high density of population.
