Iran has complained to the Swiss ambassador in Tehran, who is the representative of US interest in the Islamic Republic. Their allegations upon the involvement of Washington against an Iranian fuel shipment to Venezuela.
A senior official on behalf of President Donald Trump’s administration has stated that the United States will take the response to Iran’s shipment of fuel to crisis-stricken Venezuela.
The oil sectors of Iran and Venezuela, both are the members of OPEC. They are both in under observation of US sanctions. The administration has declined the fact that they’ve specified the measures being weighed. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi sent a warning message to the Swiss ambassador, the US threat against the Iranian tankers.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad has sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, that Iran has to reserve their right to take all appropriate measures and decisive action, as they need to secure their legitimate rights against bullying terms and conditions.
