Indian Railways restarts its service on Tuesday; this put an end to the two-month-long lockdown due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic. There is a long list for passengers travelling on special trains. Railways have advised carrying their staffs.
The passengers with confirmed tickets are only allowed to enter the railway station. All of the passengers must wear masks or face mask during the travel and also to the time to enter. The passenger is ordered to reach at least 90 minutes in advance.
They will proceed to thermal screening at the station, after that who will be cleared as asymptomatic, they will be permitted to travel. All the passengers need to maintain the social distancing on the station and inside the train strictly.
After arriving at the destination, all the passengers have to follow some medical protocols as prescribed by the receiving state. More importantly, all the passengers must have the Arogya setu app on their phone.
Railways will not provide any food or linen. Only some pre-packed snacks and biscuits will be provided by the onboard catering staff. Passengers who need these, they have to buy. Passengers will also advise travelling with portable lights.
