Ministry of health has been announced that the government has gathered all the required supplies for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. The government is ready with all the required medical equipment. So, it is accepted that economic activity will resume soon.
The government is allowing some business production during this pandemic. Agriculture, fisheries, biscuit factory, dairy products, grocery supplies will be continued by following the norms of social distancing.
As per Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, that the lockdown is set to extend until May 2020, the economy will be grim soon. Coronavirus lockdown has changed the scenario of the Indian economy severely, said by the World Bank.
Health Ministry’s Lav Agarwal has stated that 1.05 lakh beds in 601 dedicated COVID-19 hospitals have been equipped already. Punya Salila Srivastava of the Home Affairs Ministry has also informed that the Ministries of Civil Aviation, Consumer Affairs and Railways have started working with states sort out the logistic problems.
