The crisis going on the line of actual control of Ladakh since May which has created tension on the borders of both countries China and India. On Wednesday Indian China help brigade commander level talks in Eastern Ladakh The meeting was for 4 hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
India and Chinese military officers exchanged messages on the hotline and commanding officers were also in touch with each other. The two countries have agreed on a five-point plan for resolving the prolonged and the tensions between the two countries on the borders of Eastern Ladakh which includes a binding by all existing agreements and protocol on the management of the frontier, maintaining peace and tranquillity, and avoiding any action that could worsen the situation.
On Friday morning, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement featuring five points ritual agreed by both sides at the frank and constructive discussions. According to the statement issued by MEA “The two foreign ministers agreed that the current situation in the border areas is not in the interest of either side. They agreed that the troops of both sides should continue their dialogue, quickly disengage, and maintain proper distance and ease tensions”.
