A day after the CBSE released the Class 12 results, an Indian Administration Service (IAS) officer sent out a message that those who have not secured great marks can also achieve a lot in their lives. Nitin Sangwan, despite his average show in his exams in 2002, in which he scored only 24 in Chemistry, managed to enter the civil services – billed as one of the toughest exams in the county. His tweet with his mark sheet has been shared thousands of times.
“In my 12th exams, I got 24 marks in Chemistry – just 1 mark above passing marks. But that didn’t decide what I wanted from my life. Don’t bog down kids with the burden of marks. Life is much more than board results. Let results be an opportunity for introspection and not for criticism,” he tweeted.
