Chinese telecom gear maker Huawei has donated Rs 7 crore towards the PM-CARES fund and directly to six other states to support the fight against the COVID-19 or coronavirus pandemic in the country.
This isn’t the first time Huawei offered help to India and Indians workers, they had recently offered to share with Indian authorities technological solutions such as remote temperature monitoring to help contain the spread of Covid-19.
“We are working on solutions to apply our learnings and experience from China to the current situation in India and help combat Covid-19 with new technology such as remote temperature monitoring,” said the CEO of Huawei India.
As Chinese Compaies are struggling imposed by Indians due to the India China Face Faceoff, but Huawei is very straight forward with it. According to the CEO “We at Huawei in India offer to work with the government of India, industry and local ecosystem to make our contribution to fighting this recent pandemic based on our social responsibilities”.
