Two private hospitals in Mumbai were sealed as the corona virus infected the health staff. Wockhardt Hospital and Jaslok Hospital have been declared as containment zone by the Brihan Mumbai Municipal cooperation(BMC).
29 health staff were tested positive for the covid 19 pandemic at the Wockhardt Hospital near Mumbai central, this includes 3 docors and 26 nurses. Also, 10 health workers from the Jaslock Hospital were tested positive for the virus, this includes 6 nurses.
The infections are said to have happened after 2 cases were shifted from Kasturba Hospital earlier to the Wockhardt. The BMC is testing 270 staffs and patients in the hospital, since the hospital has now become the center fr the virus spread, with many cases from the single location. The two hospitals have now been sealed with none allowed to enter and exit the hospital.
Maharashtra has the most no of cases in the country with over 860 cases reported as on Monday., the state’s capital city has crossed 500 mark being the worst hit city in India. The state has till now lost 52 lives.
