Bihar has witnessed 87 cases, around 37 patients have recovered and 1 died. Health workers are working every day to help the patients in recovering while locals are chasing and attacking them.
On Thursday, two attacks were confirmed in Bihar Sharif, the hometown of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. He asked people to control their rage and stay calm. Unlike CM of other states, CM of Bihar has opted to remain silent on presenting any updates regarding the coronavirus. 4 district have been declared as hotspots areas in Bihar — Begusarai, Nalanda, Nawada and Siwan. Almost 60 per cent of the total cases in Bihar are from these districts.
Also, people are claiming that the reason behind less positive cases is that tests taking place in Bihar are insufficient. The attack on health workers took place in Motihari and Aurangabad as well. The villagers chased off health workers who went on checking for a patient who returned from any other place.
