Google recently released a feature that lets users to translate a a screenshot taken from a device using Google Lens. This feature is available on devices that have Android 11 or have upgraded to Android 11.
In short, a screenshot of an image with text in any foreign language will be analyzed by Google Lens within the image and provide specific results. This can be done via a translation that appears on the screenshot taken. Once the user click on it, the screenshot will show the translated result in the same position where the original text was.
After the text it translated, it can be copied and used for offline purposes or just to share on social media platforms. Though, in order to use this feature in offline mode, users will have to download the respective download language packs for Google Lens.
The feature is pretty neat, taking accessibility to the next level. Users will no longer have to Google search a foreign text to find out what it means as Google Lens makes it a push of a button away.
