In an unprecedented incident, a giant crocodile swept in flood water and entered into a village in Odisha’s Jajpur district on Thursday.
The crocodile was found in the residential area of Datapur village in Jajpur district.
Following incessant rains, the crocodile was caught after spouting flood water from the river Baitarani entered Datapur village.
Some local men spotted the crocodile which was moving on the village road. They recorded it on their mobile phones and alerted other villagers.
The villagers, however, overpowered the wild reptile and informed forest officials.
