Freddie Mercury was the lead singer of the British rock band “Queen.” The singer cum songwriter gifted us with some of the most unforgettable and heart touching songs of all times that are a clear resemblance of his own life with Bohemian Rhapsody at its height that very symbolically narrated the tale of his own life experiences. The lyrics of almost every song of him was composed with a sole motive to relate to his audience and the contemporary world. It is very surprising to shed light over the fact that he was by birth an Indian and not a British. Born to his Parsi parents, Bomi and Jer Bulsara were literally of Indian origin. Mercury is known to have attended English-style boarding schools in India since age eight and returned to Zanzibar after his secondary education got over. In 1964, his family fled the Zanzibar Revolution, moving to Middle sex, England.
