On Friday, Saharai Oram former Odisha leader and veteran Tribal leader died from a prolonged illness in his district Keonjhar. He was 78.
Several ministers including the CM Naveen Patnaik consoles the death of such a great leader. He further added that Saharai Oram was very close to Biju Patnaik and worked hard for the welfare of the poor. Oram was elected 5 times as MLA in Champua constituency.
He worked was immensely popular among the poor, destitute and orphans. Not only this but he also promoted his folk and tribal culture. He is survived by two sons and a wife, and he took his last breath at his residence with the family.
