Born on 27 November 1942 in Muzaffarnagar, Bihar, Mridula Sinha was the first female governor of Goa. Apart from politics, her name was also very high in the world of literature. She has written more than 46 books in his life. A film was also made on her book ‘Ek Thi Rani Aisi Bhi’ written on Vijayaraje Scindia.
Her husband Dr. Ramkripal Sinha was a cabinet minister in Bihar and a minister of state in the central government. Mridula Sinha was the Chairman of the Central Social Welfare Board during Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government. She was later made the Governor of Goa.
