Both countries India and Canada have agreed to air bubble agreement which will become operational on August 15 includes the national career of both the countries which is aiming to restore commercial passenger services to the pre-pandemic level. All visitors are permitted and Indians can now fly to the US, UK, Canada under the Air Bubble agreement.
In the agreement, it is included that India has not given permission to the entry of all types of visa holders but for those who are holding an essential visa which should be approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs. On Saturday, 15 August when the air bubble agreement will be implemented between the two countries. Air Canada will start operating flights between Toronto and New Delhi with the first flight returning on Tuesday.
On Friday in an announcement, the director-general of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said that the Indian holding any kind of visa now can travel to the mentioned countries that are UK US and Canada only under the Air Bubbles agreement. However, Maldives is said to be the first neighboring country with which India has operationalize air bubble.
