Domestic flight operation has been officially declared to resume its service from May 25. After two months of lockdown imposed, confusion and chaos have been created in Delhi, Mumbai and other cities, where a large number of flights were cancelled. Passengers who reached the airport, they complained that they didn’t receive any notification from the airlines.
There are 82 flights have been cancelled to and from Delhi. Passengers waiting at terminal 3 in Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport were getting impatient and angry when they didn’t receive any single notification about flight cancellation.
Similarly, passengers were waiting outside at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, as their flights get cancelled. Also, many passengers enquire to the respective airlines about the next flights, the airlines couldn’t confirm that there are any flights are available.
In the Northeast region, Agartala, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Aizwal and Dimapur passengers get informed that the domestic flights have been cancelled without any earlier confirmation. Along with that Kolkata, airport s not functional yet, these airports of Northeast regions are facing a grave disruption of flights.
