Jivitputrika vrat for the children is three day log festival. The first day is for bath and eat. That is mother do sanjat on the day. They use to wash off their hair. And than they use to eat fish, and many other things. The second day is for vrat. They keep nirjala fast through out the day only for their children. The third day is for the mother to break the fast. The third day is also known as parana. On the day mother use to break their fast . And have variety of food specially curry and rice.
