COVID-19 disease or novel coronavirus has been devastated the human life around the world. Today in this article it will be discussed how, when, why and where it has been started. The outbreak has literally broken down the pace of normal life from the last year’s December. Before authority took care of it, it spread worldwide.
The novel coronavirus has been detected from the city of Wuhan, China in last December 2019. The officials reported to the World Health Organisation that a new virus is causing pneumonia-like illness to the people. The experts identify that virus as the Coronavirus, but the Wuhan official couldn’t contain the transmission within Wuhan and it outbreaks in China.
This infection is very much common in wild animals and sometimes it can infect humans also. The experts stated that there are two major types of coronavirus. One is SARS and another one is MERS. The first outbreak in 2002 and the second one infect the human in 2012 for the first time. Scientists considered that the virus has been infected in the human body from the seafood market. But later they found that the first infected person didn’t visit the market.
The origin of the virus has not detected until now. From one analysis, it has been suspected that the genetic sequence of this virus is identical (96%) to that virus, which is usually found in Bat. Both SARS and MERS are originated from Bat.
Now the transmission has been spread to all around the globe. It was started from Wuhan City; the nation took rapid actions to restrict all kind of social gatherings. Also, they isolated the sick and suspected infected from normal people. They start their proceedings of treatment in special hospitals and also started tests for the virus.
Now, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Germany has been slowed down the pandemic. The United States of America is the new epicentre of this crisis. They are coming up with new cases almost every day. New Rochelle, New York, Boston, Florida, Arizona and Alabama are the most affected area, where the curve of infection is increasing day by day. Medical experts have stated that there is a new type of coronavirus has been infected among the people; the symptoms are not visible enough to detect.
COVID-19 is a serious illness and more dangerous than the normal flu. It has been reported that the virus will affect among 214 million US citizens and approximately 1.7 million can be killed with it. The symptoms of this virus are mild cold, shortness of breath, fever. If the infected didn’t hospitalize within 7 days, then these symptoms will be severe and will lead you to death.
It is very difficult to diagnose how much this virus can be severe, as it affects the immunity system. Each person has their own immunity level to fight with illness, and sometimes people who are suffering a lot of illness before the infection, they triggered to death easily.
This virus moves from one place to another by human touch and contact. While shaking hands or hugging it can be in the body surface. While sneezing or splitting or coughing the virus spread to the human body with the help of droplets of mucus and saliva. If those droplets reach the eyes, mouth or nose, then that person will get infected. The virus also stayed up on that surface which is touched by human frequently. If someone touches those and then reaches to nose or mouth then that person could get sick.
