Minister informed that the maximum number of parents are in favor to hold the JEE, NEET exams.
As told by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal that, there are a huge number of students who will give these exams. 7.5 lakhs to 8.58 students will give Joint Entrance Exams which is known as JEE and for National Eligibility Entrance Exam NEET there is around 10 lakh to 15.97 lakh has downloaded their admit cards for these exams. This indicates that all these students want to give exams at any cost.
The minister also said that there are a maximum number of students who want to give the exams, many parents have mailed or through some other sources to the government that they are in favor of the exams. The government has post pond these exams twice in a year.
Recently Mr. Pokhriyal said that he had a conversation with the Director-General of National Testing Agency who told him that in a country 7.5 lakhs out of 8.58 lakhs of students have downloaded the admit card for JEE exam and in the case, for NEET exam 10 lakhs out of total 15.97 lakhs of students have downloaded the admit card for the exam. This all has happened in the last twenty-four hours.
Many parents have a fear of coronavirus so for this, the minister of the National Testing Agency said that they have made proper arrangements for all the students. This all has been made under the orders of central government tasked by higher educational institutes which appeared with a proper set of guidelines and many SOPs for conducting the exams.
Students have given a choice to choose exam centers according to their own choice. Mr. Pokhriyal added that there is no need to make protests.
