Ducati to launch its much-awaited Streetfighter V4 soon in India. The plans to launch the bike was revealed in 2020 and now some selected dealers are also accepting pre-bookings on the bike ahead of an official price announcement.
The main highlight of the bike is its Stradale V4 engine which has been sourced from the Panigale V4. Whereas, the 1,103cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine has been tuned to pump out 205 bhp of maximum power at 12,750rpm. At just 178kg (kerb weight), the bike tips the scale, lending it an aggressive power-to-weight ratio, whereas, the transmission on the bike is a six-speed unit.
The external features of the bike include an LED headlight, a fully digital instrument cluster, aerodynamic winglets, and upright ergonomics. On international level, it is available in two trim, color schemes, that is, Dark Stealth and Ducati Red. The same color options are expected to come in India when the bike is launched.
Streetfighter V4 in India is likely to be priced in the range of around ₹ 19-20 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike in the international markets is direct rival of KTM 1290 Super Duke R, Yamaha MT-10, Kawasaki Z H2, Aprilia Tuono V4, and the BMW S1000R.
Ducati other than Streetfighter V4 will also introduce the Multistrada V4 adventure motorcycle in India later this year.
