On Saturday (December 5, 2020), the Special Cell of Delhi Police got a big success. The police arrested Abdullah Danish, a dreaded terrorist and member of the SIMI party who had been absconding for 19 years. Police have chased for 2 years to arrest Abdullah. On December 5, Abdullah was arrested from Zakir Nagar by a team of Inspector Shiv Kumar and Inspector Karmaveer of Delhi Police Special Cell.
He is an active and oldest member of the banned organization SIMI. In Delhi, a case of sedition and unlawful activity was being searched. In the year 2020, Delhi court declared Abdullah as a fugitive. Abdullah was the Chief Editor of SIMI’s Magazine Islamic Movement for 4 years.
Abdullah was tricking the youth in the name of CAA and NCR by making fake videos and constantly provoking the crowd. After being declared a fugitive by the court, Abdullah was living in hiding in Delhi, UP Gujarat, and was constantly changing his hideout.
In 2008, Abdullah Bashir, one of the accused in the Gujarat blasts, was instigated for the blast. Not only this, Abdullah also gave shelter to the terrorists in his home Aligarh after the bombings in Gujarat. Abdullah is also close to SIMI’s dreaded terrorists Subhan Toukir and Safdar Nagori. The Delhi Police is currently looking for another associate.
