There are more than 18,000 employees in three countries – Bangladesh, India and Jordan. Coronavirus lockdowns are affecting over on their wages. There are unreasonable demands from big clients – mostly in the US and the UK.
Some clothing brands are showing partnership and a greater level of ethics trying their best to paying that employees, said by Amit Mahtaney, the chief executive of Tusker Apparel Jordan. Clothing brand owners are protecting their shareholder values; they are behaving deceitfully, anther owner Vijay Mahtaney said.
The garment manufacture is in trouble since the coronavirus pandemic has been outbreak globally. Factories were not getting enough supplies of raw materials, what they exported from China. China is the biggest industry of textiles.
Now, China is reopening their textile market for the world, so the garment manufacturers are hoping to get some positive news from the exporters to start the production.
