Two employees of the Ministry of External Affairs office has reported positive for the COVID-19 infection. Many officers have been suggested to stay low and go for the self-quarantine. According to the sources, one of the consultants from the ministry’s Central Europe division in New Delhi tested positive for the COVID-19.
Another one is a legal officer from Law division, reported as confirmed COVID-19 infected. The Ministry of External Affairs ordered to sanitize all the rooms of Central Europe Division and legal division, with the nearby premises as well.
Currently, MEA is working on the relief and rescue operations amid coronavirus pandemic. They are evacuating Indian citizens who stranded in abroad. The nation is walking toward the third extension of lockdown, and the toll of confirmed cases has just crossed the 1.73 lakh mark.
